Welcome to CCSALT, an acronym first used when setting up a teaching schedule to encourage a growing discipleship in the church here in Camborne Cluster in Cornwall some four years ago. It stands for, in its own 'twee' fashion, for Camborne Cluster School of Applied Theology. It sounds grand and is frankly way 'above its station' in that! However, its aim is to be an ongoing resource for individuals both within this cluster and further afield, where folk find this hopeful. It will develop as a mixture of blogs, podcasts, presentations, powerpoints and documents on a variety of topics related to theology and biblical themes, but with an added breadth that these may be approached through seemingly unconnected themes which may spark an interest from a potentially wide audience. Some of this reflects some conversations that have occurred in a local men's pub group affectionately called 'Blokes, Beer and Banter at Barripper' and which have sparked more detailed analysis. So you may find themes connected with politics, justice. poetry, the environment, literature and education, to name a smattering. It has been put together using the combined gifts of Peter Newing and Duncan Petty and may you be blessed by our efforts!
